29.05.17 Taipei, Taiwan – Der Hersteller CRYORIG, der für seine Kühler und PC-Zubehör Innovationen bekannt ist, bringt mit dem Projekt „Taku“ sein erstes PC-Gehäuse über die Crowdfunding-Plattform Kickstarter an den Start. Das Taku Projekt wurde im letzten Sommer erstmals der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert und wird auf der Computex 2017 in den kommenden Tagen ausgestellt. CRYORIG arbeitet seit über zwei Jahren intensiv an der Entwicklung des Taku-Gehäuses und seit ca. 6 Monaten ist der Herstellungspartner Lian Li als Mitentwickler an Bord. Die Taku Kickstarterkampagne beginnt am 29.05.2017 und läuft bis einschließlich 27.06.2017. Unterstützer profitieren von der Chance, das Taku als erstes zu bekommen und der Möglichkeit aus mehreren Varianten auszuwählen, die nur bei der Kickstarter-Kampagne verfügbar sind.

Bei dem Taku handelt es sich um einen Hybrid aus einem PC-Monitorstand und High-End PC-Gehäuse im ITX-Formfaktor. Mit dem Taku reduziert man die Grundfläche, die der gesamte PC benötigt auf ein Minimum, ohne auf High-End Komponenten verzichten zu müssen. Der große Vorteil ist, dass sowohl der Monitor als auch der PC und die Tastatur nicht über den Tisch verteilt werden, sondern den Platz auf dem Tisch in vertikaler Ausrichtung (übereinander) nutzen. Dadurch wird die Grundfläche des PCs auf dem Tisch deutlich reduziert und so wertvoller Platz frei gemacht. Das Taku Gehäuse bietet genügend Platz für Grafikkarten mit einer Gesamtlänge von 280 Millimetern, Mainboards im ITX-Formfaktor, SFX- oder SFX-L-Netzteile und kann damit echte High-End Komponenten aufnehmen. Das Taku bietet weiterhin Platz für eine 3,5-Zoll Festplatte und zwei 2,5-Zoll SSDs oder Festplatten.

Als PC-Monitorstand trägt Taku Monitore mit einem maximalen Gewicht von bis zu 15 Kilogramm und bietet unten ausreichend Platz für vollwertige, mechanische Tastaturen mit 104 Tasten. Der System-Schlitten kann jederzeit für komfortablen Einbau oder Aufrüstung von Komponenten komplett herausgezogen werden. Auf der rechten Seite des Taku befinden sich zwei USB 3.0 Ports sowie ein Audio-In und Audio-Out-Anschluss. Ein USB Typ-C-Port wird bei späteren Versionen erhältlich sein. Weiterhin bietet das Taku Gehäuse zwei Kabelmanagement-Einlässe an der Front, über die man Kabel ganz einfach durch den System-Schlitten nach hinten führen und mit dem I/O-Panel verbinden kann. Diese Lösung sorgt für eine saubere und einfache Durchführung von Kabeln zum Laden von Smartphones oder zum Anschluss weiterer Peripherie.

CRYORIG nutzt beim Taku eine Kombination aus Holz und Aluminium, um ein natürliches Aussehen zu erreichen, dass sowohl in die meisten Haushalte als auch in Arbeitsumgebungen perfekt integriert werden kann. Die Taku Kickstarter-Kampagne startet heute und bietet mehrere Auswahlmöglichkeiten bei den Farben und dem Material. CRYORIG wird außerdem einen C7 ITX-CPU-Kühler kostenlos beilegen, wenn die Taku-Kampagne eine Stückzahl von 1.000 Stück erreicht. Die ersten Unterstützer haben die Möglichkeit das Taku für 250 US-Dollar (ohne Versand und Einfuhrumsatzsteuer) und das Standard Taku Classic für bis zu 299 US-Dollar(ohne Versand und Einfuhrumsatzsteuer) zu bekommen. 29.05.17 Taipei, Taiwan – CRYORIG, the PC Cooling and peripherals innovator is releasing their first PC case project the Taku on crowdfunding website Kickstarter. The Taku, first announced and exhibited last summer, will also be shown during Computex 2017. The TAKU has been in development for over 2 Years in house, with over 6 months of co-development with manufacturing partner Lian Li. The Taku Kickstarter campaign begins on May 29th and ends on July 28th. Besides offering backers the chance to be the first people to receive the Taku, backers are also offered multiple customization options only available on Kickstarter.

The TAKU is a hybrid between a PC Monitor Stand and a high-end ITX form factor PC case. With the TAKU, the PC footprint is minimized to free up desk space while at the same time fitting a high-performance PC system. The benefit of this state of the art design is that the monitor, keyboard and the full PC system is arranged vertically on top of each other. Meaning the total footprint is lowered, and valuable deskspace is freed. The Taku is compatible with GPU’s up to 280 mm, ITX form factor mainboards, SFX or SFX-L power supplies, fully capable of housing a high-end Gaming PC. Taku’s storage space is also well taken care of. The Taku can also fit 1x 3.5” HDD and two 2.5” SSD/HDD.

As a PC Monitor Stand the Taku can support monitors up to 15 kg and fit a full 104 key mechanical keyboard underneath the stand. The system tray can be fully slid out of the chassis for easy installation of PC components or upgrades. On the right side of the Taku you’ll find dual USB 3.0 ports and audio in/out ports. Der neue H7 Quad Lumi basiert auf dem vielfach ausgezeichneten H7 CPU-Kühler, bietet aber dank der insgesamt vier hochwertigen 6-mm-Kupfer-Heatpipies, NZXT CAM gesteuerten Lumi Beleuchtungssystem und dem neuen QF120 1.600 U/Min LED Lüfter deutliche Unterschiede. CRYORIG ist es durch das mit NZXT zusammen entwickelte Lumi Beleuchtungssystem gelungen, einen RGB-LED-Controller in den H7 Quad Lumi zu integrieren. Dadurch ist es nun möglich die Logo- und Bodenplattenbeleuchtung des Kühlers unabhängig voneinander mittels NZXT CAN Software oder Smartphone-App zu steuern.

Durch die über ein Jahr währende Kooperation mit NZXT, ist es CRYORIG gelungen den einzigartigen H7 Quad Lumi und das Lumi Beleuchtungssystem zu entwickeln. Das Lumi Beleuchtungssystem setzt auf dem NZXT Hue+ Controller auf und ermöglicht bei der Markteinführung die Wahl zwischen neun unterschiedlichen Leuchteffekten über die CAM Software. Über ein Firmware-Update werden zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt weitere Effekte bereitgestellt. Über das Lumi System werden zwei unabhängige Kanäle angesteuert, was bedeutet, dass man den in der Ober- und Grundplatte verbauten LEDs unterschiedliche Farben und sogar separat Effekte zuweisen kann. Die CAM Software bietet neben der LED-Steuerung außerdem die Überwachung der CPU-Temperaturen, Lüfterdrehzahlregelung und Nutzung verschiedener Einstellungsprofile. Das macht den H7 Quad Lumi nicht nur innovativ, sondern auch zur ersten Peripherie, die CAM unterstützt.

In seiner Grundform basiert der H7 Quad Lumi auf dem erfolgreichen CRYORIG H7 CPU-Kühler. Es gibt jedoch signifikante Unterschiede und diese liegen nicht nur in der Integration des Lumi Beleuchtungssystems. Der H7 Quad Lumi ist mit einer weiteren, hochleistungsstarken Kupfer-Heatpipe ausgerüstet worden, wodurch es nun vier an der Zahl sind. Weiterhin kommt ein neuer QF120 LED Lüfter mit 1.600 U/Min und ein überarbeitetes Montagesystem zum Einsatz. Durch die Aufrüstung und neue Anordnung der Heatpipes, kann die Leistung des H7 Quad Lumi gegenüber dem normalen H7 um mindestens 15% gesteigert werden, wodurch nun Prozessoren mit mehr als 160 Watt TDP unterstützt werden. Das neue Quick Mount System ist außerdem mit dem Sockel LGA2011 v3, LGA115x und AMD™s AM4 Sockel kompatibel. Somit wird die Kompatibilität zu allen gängigen Sockeln von Intel™ und AMD™ geboten. Der mitgelieferte QF120 LED Lüfter kann per PWM in dem Drehzahlbereich von 300 bis 1.600 U/Min geregelt werden und bietet weiße LED-Beleuchtung. Zu den Features des QF120 LED zählen außerdem die integrierten Acoustic Absorber und das bewährte Quad Air Inlet™ System. CRYORIG’s QF120 Serie wird zeitnah auch entsprechende LED-Modelle aufweisen.

17.05.17 Taipei, Taiwan – PC cooling and peripherals innovator CRYORIG announces their collaboration project with NZXT, the software controlled RGB LED H7 Quad Lumi will be releasing this June. The H7 Quad Lumi is based on CRYORIG’s award winning H7, the H7 Quad Lumi features a total of four 6 mm high-end copper heatpipes, NZXT CAM Powered Lumi Lighting System as well as a new QF120 1.600 RPM LED fan. Co-developed with NZXT, CRYORIG has managed to add a built-in RGB LED controller directly into the H7 Quad Lumi. Running on NZXT’s CAM, the H7 Quad Lumi can independently control the logo and base lighting of the heatsink through CAM software and smartphone app.

With close collaboration with NZXT for over a year, CRYORIG has managed to develop something truly unique with the H7 Quad Lumi and Lumi Lighting System. The Lumi Lighting System is built on NZXT’s Hue+ controller board and CAM software system, with nine different special lighting effects available at launch and more to come with future firmware updates. The Lumi system is capable of dual channel LED configurations, meaning the top and base LED’s can be set to different colors and even separate special effects. Powered and controlled through NZXT CAM software, LED control, CPU temp monitoring, fan RPM control and profile settings are all available. This makes the H7 Quad Lumi the first CAM Powered peripheral and a true innovated approach for PC cooling solutions.

At the core the H7 Quad Lumi is based on the successful CRYORIG H7. The difference besides the addition of the Lumi Lighting System is an upgrade to four high performance heatpipes for added TDP capacity, a new QF120 LED 1.600 RPM fan and also a reworked mounting system. With the upgraded heatpipe setup, the H7 Quad Lumi has increased heat dissipation performance by at least 15% over the H7 and now supports 160+ watt CPUs. Der Hersteller versichert Nutzern von CRYORIG-Produkten, dass bisher keiner seiner CPU-Kühler das besagte Problem aufwies. Es gab bisher keine Anzeichen auf Probleme in Verbindung mit CRYORIG-Produkten, weder aus den Vertriebskanälen, noch aus Medienberichten oder internen Tests. CRYORIG CPU-Kühler können damit bedenkenlos mit Sockel LGA1151 Prozessoren verwendet werden und halten sich an die gegebenen Spezifikationen und Vorgaben der Prozessorhersteller. Als Sicherheitsmaßnahme wird Nutzern jedoch empfohlen, den Computer beim Transport so hinzulegen, dass der CPU-Kühler vertikal ausgerichtet ist.
