15.03.2016, Oststeinbek (Germany) – Der japanische Kühlerspezialist Scythe stellt die brandneue Hochleistungs-Wärmeleitpaste Thermal Elixer in der zweiten Revision vor. Nach dem Erfolg der ersten Generation machten sich die Ingenieure im Hause Scythe das Feedback und die gewonnene Erfahrung zu Nutze, um nochmals erhebliche technische Fortschritte in der neuen Thermal Elixer 2 umzusetzen. Die zweite Generation nutzt die „Pure Aluminum Particle Hybrid Technology“ und besteht in seiner Rezeptur ausschließlich aus hochwertigen Bestandteilen. Dank dieser Kombination ist es gelungen die Wärmeleiteigenschaften nochmals zu verbessern und den thermischen Widerstand auf 0,013 K/W zu reduzieren. Trotz dieses sagenhaften Leistungsschubs, müssen selbstverständlich keine Kompromisse bei der Verarbeitung eingegangen werden.

After collecting the user’s feedback and experience with the first Thermal Elixer, Scythe engineers created an improved thermal grease solution. Thermal Elixer 2 utilizes the Pure Aluminum Particle Hybrid Technology and is based on high quality components. Thanks to this combination a significant reduction of thermal resistance to 0,013 K/W has been achieved. In spite of the improved performance, no compromise has to be made in terms of easy appliance.
Bei der Entwicklung der neuen Thermal Elixer 2 hat man sich bei Scythe viel Zeit genommen und größte Sorgfalt walten lassen. Das Ziel war es eine extrem leistungsfähige und einfach anzuwendende Wärmeleitpaste zu erschaffen, welche gleichzeitig gute elektrische Isolationswerte vorweisen kann. All diese hervorragenden Eigenschaften wurden abschließend in diesem Produkt vereint. Neben einer sehr hohen Langzeitstabilität bietet die Paste exzellente Dry-Out Eigenschaften. Der Einsatzbereich der Thermal Elixer 2 erstreckt über eine Arbeitstemperatur von -20°C bis 120°C. Damit ergeben sich zahlreiche Einsatzgebiete auf CPU und GPU mit unterschiedlichsten Kühlertechniken. Wie der Vorgänger wird die Paste in einer anwenderfreundlichen Spritze geliefert und enthält nun 5 Gramm statt wie bisher 3,5 Gramm. Da es keinerlei Anforderungen an eine „Einbrennzeit“ gibt, wird die maximale Performance der Thermal Elixer 2 bereits nach sehr kurzer Zeit erreicht.
Die neue Thermal Elixer 2 (SCTE-2000) Wärmeleitpaste ist ab heute für einen Preis von 5,45 Euro im Einzelhandel erhältlich (UVP inkl. 19% MwSt.).

Scythe was especially careful in the development process of the Thermal Elixer 2. The goal was to create an extremely powerful, yet easy to use solution that omits electrical conductivity. All the aforementioned advantages are combined in the final product. Thermal Elixer 2 offers very low dry-out characteristics and is made for long term use. The thermal grease can be used for both CPU and GPU in the temperature range from -20 to 120 degrees Celsius. Similar to the predecessor, the new solution comes in a user-friendly syringe tube but offers 5 grams of thermal grease instead of 3,5 grams. There is no burn-in period required, which means that Thermal Elixer 2 is reaching its maximum potential within a short time after appliance.
The new Scythe Thermal Elixer 2 (SCTE-2000) thermal interface material solution is available as of today at the MSRP of 4,60 EU (w/o VAT/TAX).
