21.09.2016, Oststeinbek (Germany) – Der japanische Kühlerexperte Scythe kündigt heute einen neuen CPU-Kühler im Tower-Design für seine Produktpalette an. Dabei handelt es sich um den Scythe Byakko. Die neue Kühllösung ist speziell auf den Bereich der kompakten High-End Kühler ausgerichtet, denn mit einer Höhe von gerade einmal 130 mm passt dieser CPU-Kühler so gut wie in jedes Gehäuse. Dank der asymmetrischen Ausrichtung der Bodenplatte und Kühllamellen verfügt dieses Produkt über eine hervorragende Kompatibilität. Der Byakko ist serienmäßig mit einem Scythe Slip Stream 92 mm PWM Lüfter ausgestattet, welcher ein weites Drehzahlband für unterschiedliche Bedürfnisse bietet. Dank der ausgefeilten Montagetechnik ist eine anwenderfreundliche Installation des Byakko auf Intel® als auch AMD® Sockeln möglich.

Scythe Byakko is a compact cooling solution with a total height of mere 130 millimeters, which fits in virtually every PC case. Great compatibility is assured thanks to the asymmetric alignment of the base-plate and the heatsink. Byakko is equipped with Scythes Slip Stream 92 PWM fan, offering a wide speed range for different purposes. User friendly and fast mounting of Byakko on both Intel® and AMD® Sockets is accomplished thanks to the supplied mounting clips.
Der Scythe Byakko wurde mit dem Ziel entwickelt in möglichst jedes auf dem Markt erhältliche PC-Gehäuse zu passen und gleichzeitig höchste Kompatibilität gegenüber großen Speichermodulen (Arbeitsspeicher) sowie VRM-Kühlern zu gewährleisten. All dies wird durch die kompakten Maße von 102 x 130 x 84 mm (W x H x D) und dem neuen asymmetrischen Design des Kühlkörpers erreicht. Drei hochqualitative Kupferpipes mit 6 mm Durchmesser verbinden die massive Kupferbodenplatte mit einem Packet aus vielen einzelnen Aluminiumlamellen. Die Bodenplatte als auch die Heatpipes werden zum Ende des Fertigungsprozesses abschließend zum Schutz vor Korrosion und für eine erhöhte Qualität vernickelt.
Der neue Kühlkörper kommt mit einem vorinstallierten Slip Stream 92 PWM (SY9225SL12M-P) Axiallüfter, welcher in einem weiten Drehzahlbereich von 300 UPM (sehr leise) bis 2.300 UPM (höchste Leistung) arbeiten kann. Dieser Bereich erlaubt einen stabilen Volumenstrom von 11,38 bis 79,09 m³/h.
Byakko ist ausgestattet mit einem simplen, jedoch zugleich hoch beweglichem, Befestigungssystem, welches eine sichere und schnelle Installation auf unterschiedlichen CPU-Sockeln ermöglicht. Die Liste der kompatiblen CPU Sockel ist lang und beinhaltet folgende Varianten: Intel® Sockel LGA775, LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366 wie auch AMD® Sockel AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2 und FM2+. Der Lieferumfang beinhaltet alle benötigten Klemmen für die Montage, eine Installationsanleitung und natürlich eine Packung hochwertiger Wärmeleitpaste.
Der Scythe Byakko mit der Modellnummer SCBYK-1000 ist ab heute auf dem europäischen Markt erhältlich. Die unverbindliche Preisempfehlung beträgt 24,95 Euro.

Scythe Byakko was designed with the aim to fit into most PC cases on the market and to offer maximum compatibility to tall memory modules as well as VRM heatsinks. All this is possible thanks to the compact dimensions of 102 x 130 x 84 mm (W x H x D) and the new asymmetric design of the heatsink. Three high-quality copper heatpipes with 6 millimeter diameter are connecting the solid copper base-plate and the aluminum fins-stack heatsink. Both the copper-heatpipes and the copper-baseplate are nickel-plated in the final process, in order to avoid corrosion and improve the quality.
The new heatsink comes with a pre-installed Slip Stream 92 PWM (SY9225SL12M-P) axial-fan, which offers flexible speed range starting at ultra-silent 300 RPM going up to 2.300 RPM for best performance. This speed range allows steady airflow from 11,38 to 79,09 m³/h, respectively 6,70 to 46,55 CFM.
Byakko is equipped with a simple yet versatile mounting system, allowing secure and fast mounting process on various CPU sockets. The list of compatible CPU Sockets is long and covers all major sockets, such as the Intel® Sockets LGA775, LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366 as well as the AMD® Sockets AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2 and FM2+. The package includes all required clips for mounting, a user-manual as well as a package of thermal grease.
