Der japanische Kühler-Spezialist Scythe bringt eine neue Revision des TOP-Flow-CPU-Kühlers Grand Kama Cross. Die neue Revision B des Luftkühlers in X-Form soll gewohnte Qualität und Leistung zum gleichen Preis bieten. Eine wichtige Neuerung ist die Kompatibilität zum neuen Enthusiasten-Sockel LGA2011 von Intel®. Die Sockel-Kompatibilitätsliste enthält außerdem die aktuellen Sockel LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA775 und LGA1366 von Intel® sowie die AMD® Sockel 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+ und FM1.

B of the x-shaped cooler comes with reliable quality and performance for the same price as prior version. Main improvement is the compatibility to the new enthusiast socket LGA2011 from Intel®. Furthermore Socket compatibility list includes latest Intel® socket LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA775, LGA1366 as well as AMD® socket 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+ and FM1.
Dank des bewährten Top-Flow-Designs des Grand Kama Cross Rev. B können umliegende Komponenten auf dem Mainboard durch den erzeugten Luftstrom mitgekühlt werden. Die gekrümmten Aluminium-Lamellen lenken dabei den Luftstrom um, wodurch die Temperaturen der Spannungswandler, des Chipsatzes oder des Arbeitsspeichers positiv beeinflusst werden. Zur optimalen Belüftung wird ein großer 140 mm Axiallüfter werkseitig montiert. Bei diesem handelt es sich um den Scythe Slip Stream 140 PWM Lüfter, der dank PWM-Unterstützung in einem Drehzahlbereich von 500 bis 1.300 U/min stufenlos geregelt werden kann.
Die von Scythe gewohnt gute Kühlleistung und Verarbeitungsqualität wird auch beim Grand Kama Cross Rev. B gehalten. Die Kupfer-Bodenplatte wird zum Schutz vor Korrosionen vernickelt. Für den schnellen Abtransport der Hitze von der Bodenplatte zu den Aluminium-Lamellen werden vier hochwertig verarbeitete Kupfer-Heatpipes verwendet. Das Gewicht und die Gesamtmaße haben sich indes nicht verändert. Der Grand Kama Cross Rev. B wiegt weiterhin 750 Gramm inklusive vormontiertem Lüfter und misst 177 x 140 x 137 mm.
Der Grand Kama Cross Rev. B mit der Modell-Nr. SCKC-2100 ist ab sofort im europäischen Fachhandel erhältlich. Die unverbindliche Preisempfehlung des Herstellers liegt bei 35,95 EUR (inkl. 19% MwSt.).

Well-proven Top-Flow design of grand Kama Cross Rev. B utilizes the created airflow to additionally cool surrounding components on the motherboard. Curved aluminum fin structure deflects the airflow, which has a positive influence on temperatures of Voltage regulator modules, chipset and RAM. Efficient airflow is achieved by the pre-assembled 140 mm axial fan. Scythe Slip Stream 140 PWM fan comes with PWN support and allows stepless fan speed adjustments from 500 to 1.300 RPM.
Grand Kama Cross Rev. B combines high performance and quality. To prevent copper base from corrosion it is nickel-plated. Fast heat transfer from the copper base to the aluminum fins is achieved by utilizing 4 copper heatpipes. Overall Dimensions (177 x 140 x 137 mm)as well as weight of 750 grams remain same with the prior version.
