Die Front aus gehärtetem Glas wirkt minimalistisch und beeinträchtigt dank der seitlichen Lufteinlässe die Kühleigenschaften des Gehäuses in keinster Weise. SilentiumPC installiert gleich drei Sigma HP Corona RGB 120 mm Lüfter in der Front und einen weiteren auf der Rückseite des Gehäuses, wodurch ein überdurchschnittlich guter Luftstrom garantiert ist. Insgesamt lassen sich bis zu acht Lüfter im Armis AR5X einbauen.
SilentiumPC hat den Innenaufbau des Gehäuses weiter verfeinert. Bei diesem Prozess ist unter anderem das Mainboardtray mit einem passenden, sechskantigen Muster versehen worden, das zu dem Gesamtaussehen des Gehäuses passt. Dank der ausgeklügelten Aufteilung in zwei Kammern, gibt es mehr Platz für lange Netzteile und diverse Befestigungsmöglichkeiten für 2,5“- und 3,5“-Datenträger.
Das Armis AR5X TG RGB unterstützt moderne ATX, microATX sowie mini-ITX Mainboards und moderne Grafikkarten mit einer Gesamtlänge von bis zu 350 mm als auch CPU Kühler mit eine Höhe von 162 mm. Des Weiteren finden auch All-in-One Wasserkühlungen im Inneren mehr als reichlich Platz. Es können All-in-One-Lösungen mit Radiatoren in den Größen 120/140, 240/280 und 360 in der Front installiert werden. Im Top-Panel lassen sich dagegen Radiatoren in der Größe 120 bzw. 240 befestigen. Leicht zu reinigende Staubfilter befinden sich in der Front, der oberen Abdeckung und im unteren Teil des Gehäuses. Zur einfachen Montage und Pflege von Kühlern mit Backplate, bietet das Armis AR5X TG RGB eine große Aussparung auf der Rückseite.
Die RGB-Beleuchtung der Sigma HP Corona RGB 120 mm Lüfter kann über den entsprechenden Knopf am Frontpanel oder über RGB-Systeme von Mainboards, wie zum Beispiel ASRock™ RGB LED, Asus™ Aura, EVGA™ RGB oder MSI™ Mystic Light, komfortabel gesteuert werden. Der integrierte Aurora Sync RGB- und PWM-Controller ist das Herzstück des Systems und dient als intelligenter Hub für bis zu sechs kompatible Geräte. Der Controller bietet eine Fülle an manuell einstellbaren Effekten, wie beispielsweise Breathe oder Wave und kann mit anderen Produkten, wie der SilentiumPC Navis RGB AIO-Wasserkühlung oder dem Fera 3 RGB CPU Kühler, kombiniert werden. Des Weiteren übernimmt der Aurora Sync Controller die Steuerung von bis zu sechs Lüftern, die über das PWM-Signal vom Mainboard geregelt werden.

Armis AR5X TG RGB comes with dual tempered-glass panels, one on side and another one in the front, and is fully RGB-enabled with four ring-type Sigma HP Corona RGB 120 mm fans creating subtle yet stunning illumination effects.
Having a minimalistic, tempered-glass front panel, does not compromise the cooling properties, as the signature Armis side-vents provide airflow levels comparable to fully mesh fronts.
Three Sigma HP Corona RGB 120 mm fans located in the front are pushing the air towards the fourth fan in the rear, assuring outstanding cooling right out of the box. Up to 8 fans can be installed in total.
Extra effort was put into improving the internal structure design. Entirely new motherboard tray features a gentle styling touch – distinctive hexagonal patter that discreetly matches other openings in the chassis. Functionality upgrades revolve around simplified interior design with emphasis on ease of component installation and straightforward cable management.
Armis AR5X TG RGB supports ATX, microATX and mini-ITX mainboards and offers ample space for latest VGA cards with a length of up to 350 mm as well as CPU air coolers with a maximum height of 162 mm. Users are able to install All-in-One water-cooling systems with 120/140, 240/280 and even 360 radiators in the front. Thoughtful 2.5/3.5” drive spaces allow users to conveniently install up to 2x SSDs and 2x HDD/SSD while the redesigned bottom chamber offers more space for power supplies.
Easy to remove and clean dust-filters are installed in the vents in the front, the top-cover and on bottom of the case. Mounting of backplate-based coolers is made really easy thanks the large, dedicated cutout in the motherboard tray.
The RGB illumination can be adjusted manually using the dedicated button on the front panel or via compatible motherboard software such as ASRock™ RGB LED, Asus™ Aura, EVGA™ RGB or MSI™ Mystic Light. The core and the brains of the system is the built-in advanced Aurora Sync PRO RGB/PWM controller which acts as an intelligent hub for up to 6 compatible devices. It allows for plethora of manually triggered effects such as Breathe or Wave, as well as further expandability (i.e. SilentiumPC Navis RGB or Fera RGB CPU coolers).
In addition, the Aurora Sync PRO controls the fan speed of up to 6 fans using a single PWM signal from the motherboard.
