Die neuen Midi-Tower, die sich insbesondere an Spieler mit kleinem Budget richten, besitzen eine sehr ähnliche Optik wie das bereits vorgestellte Modell mit dem Namen Aero-1000. Damit wird ihre Zugehörigkeit zur PGS-A-Serie verdeutlicht. Trotz der günstigeren Anschaffungskosten müssen Anwender allerdings nicht auf Funktionalität und Vielseitigkeit verzichten, denn beide Midi-Tower bieten nützliche Extras, die bei vielen anderen Einstiegsmodellen fehlen.

By introducing the Aero-800 and Aero-500 chassis, Aerocool extends the fresh series, which received great feedback. Both models are targeting Gamers with limited budget and offer similarly fantastic design like its big brother Aero-1000. Despite it’s low retail price both the chassis are able to offer many great features, which most competitors are lacking.
Auf den ersten Blickt sehen die neuen Aero-800- und Aero-500-Modelle fast identisch mit dem Aero-1000 aus, weisen aber einige signifikante Unterschiede auf. Wie üblich, bietet Aerocool seine Gehäuse in mehreren Farben an. Das Aero-800 gibt es im klassischen Schwarz, elegantem Weiß, frischem Blau sowie schlichtem Grau. Beim Aero-500 setzt der Hersteller auf eine komplett schwarze sowie eine weiße Variante, die mit schwarzen Akzenten veredelt ist.
Die aufgeräumte Front mit dem dezenten Mesh-Design wurde genauso an die beiden preiswerteren Modelle vererbt, wie die abnehmbaren Frontblenden und der magnetische Staubfilter auf der Gehäuseoberseite. Das I/O-Panel befindet sich beim Aero-800 an der Oberseite der Front und bietet neben einem Power-Knopf gleich zwei USB-3.0- und zwei USB-2.0-Anschlüsse sowie ein Mikro- und Kopfhörereingang. Beim Aero-500 wurde das I/O-Panel direkt in das Top-Panel eingearbeitet. Dieses bietet zwei USB-2.0- und einen USB-3.0-Anschluss, einen Reset- und einen Power-Knopf und die Eingänge für Mikro und Kopfhörer. Aerocool verbaut im I/O-Panel außerdem eine dreistufige Lüftersteuerung mit zwei Kanälen. Die beiden neuen Modelle der PGS-A-Serie bieten genügend Platz für Wasserkühlungen mit 240-mm-Radiatoren, die im oberen Bereich oder in der Front des Gehäuses verbaut werden können.
Die Midi-Tower unterstützen Mini-ITX-, Micro-ATX- als auch Standard-ATX-Mainboards und bieten auch reichlich Platz für lange High-End-Grafikkarten und hohe CPU-Kühler. Neben einer großen Aussparung für die Montage von Backplate-basierten CPU-Kühlern, verfügen die Gehäuse auch über viele Möglichkeiten für ordentliches Kabelmanagement. Im Innenraum der Aero-800 Gehäuse lassen sich insgesamt zwei 5,25-Zoll- sowie bis zu fünf 2,5-Zoll- und zwei 3,5-Zoll-Laufwerke einsetzen. Außerdem ist der untere Bereich, in dem das Netzteil und die Laufwerke montiert werden, vom oberen Bereich abgetrennt. Das Aero-500 bietet Platz für zwei 2,5-Zoll-, vier 3,5-Zoll- sowie zwei 5,25-Zoll-Laufwerke.
Für eine optimale Luftzirkulation sorgen beim Aero-800 die beiden vormontierten 120-mm-Lüfter, die sich jeweils in der Front und auf der Rückseite befinden. Das Aero-500 wird dagegen mit einem 120-mm-Lüftermodell ausgeliefert, der im Heck montiert wird.
Die neuen Aero-800 Modelle sind ab sofort für 59,90 EUR (UVP, inkl. 19% MwSt.) auf dem Markt erhältlich. Das Aero-500 ist ebenfalls ab sofort ab 43,90 Euro (UVP, inkl. 19% MwSt.) erhältlich.

The new midi-towers might look similar to the already announced Aero-1000 in terms of design, however offer different inner layout and features. Aerocool tries to give users many options when it comes to available color variations. The Aero-800 is available in four the colors black, white, blue and gray. Aero-500 on the other hand comes in the most popular colors black and white.
The new value-for-money models inherited the clean front panel with the fancy mesh-design as well as the removable magnetic dust filter on the top panel. The significant difference start with the I/O panel, which is located in the front for the Aero-800, and includes a power button, two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, one microphone and one headphone jack. Aerocool embedded the I/O panel in the top panel for the Aero-500, which is featuring two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port, a reset- and power button along with the microphone and headphone jack. In addition to that, a two-channel fan controller has been added, allowing users to change the fan speed in three different steps. One of the strongpoints of the PGS-A series is the special focus on water-cooling systems. Both the Aero-800 and Aero-500 offer special mounting areas for 240 mm water-cooling radiators, which are located in the top and the front panel.
Aerocool’s new chassis support the mainstream mainboard form-factors Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX and the standard ATX as well as large high-end VGA cards and CPU coolers. Aero-800 features two 5,25 inch bays as well as up to five 2,5 inch bays and two 3,5 inch bays. The PSU and HDD area has been separated from the main compartment, allowing better airflow circulation and cable management. Aero-500 on the other hand, offers two 5,25 inch bays as well two 2,5 inch bays and four 3,5 inch bays. Great features such as the special mounting area for backplate-based CPU coolers and pre-drilled holes in the mainboard-tray for cable management purposes have been passed down from Aero-1000 as well.
Aerocool Aero-800 and Aero-500 will be available at etailers and retails starting this week. MSRP for Aero-800 is 60,25 EUR and $67,90 (excl. VAT/Taxes). The Aero-500 will be available from 37,72 EUR and $42,50 (excl. VAT/Taxes).
