07.03.2019 – Warsaw, Poland – Nachdem erst kürzlich das Top-Modell Armis AR5X vorgestellt worden ist, gibt SilentiumPC nun drei weitere PC-Gehäuse-Variante der Armis AR5 Familie bekannt. Alle drei Modelle sind außergewöhnlich gut ausbalanciert und kombinieren kompakte Größe mit schickem Design, einer Vielzahl an Features und bieten eine hohe Verarbeitungsqualität.

Being sensible mid-tower choices, these cases provide unparalleled balance of perfect design, features, quality and fair pricing for a wide variety of PC system configurations.
Die Modelle setzen alle auf einer einheitlichen Basisstruktur mit gleichen Features auf. Unterschiede gibt es bei der Ausstattung und dem Preis:
- Armis AR5 ist das Basismodell, das mit einem soliden Seitenteil sowie zwei Sigma HP 120 mm Lüftern ausgeliefert wird.
- Armis AR5 TG kommt mit einem Seitenteil aus Hartglass und zwei Sigma HP 120 mm Lüftern.
- Armis AR5 TG RGB wird mit einem Seitenteil aus Hartglass, zwei Sigma HP 120 mm Lüftern, einem Sigma HP Corona 120 RGB Lüfter sowie Aurora Sync PRO Controller für Steuerung von Beleuchtung und PWM, bestückt.
Trotz der soliden Front mit schlichtem Design, werden die Kühleigenschaften des Gehäuses dank der seitlichen Lufteinlässe nicht beeinträchtigt. Die für die Armis Serie typischen seitlichen Lufteinlässe ermöglichen hohen Luftdurchsatz, der mit dem von Mesh-Frontpaneln vergleichbar ist. In der schlichten, gebürsteten Front ist außerdem eine Blende für optische 5,25“ Laufwerke integriert.
SilentiumPC hat den Innenaufbau des Gehäuses weiter verfeinert. Bei diesem Prozess ist unter anderem das Mainboardtray mit einem passenden, sechskantigen Muster versehen worden, das zu dem Gesamtaussehen des Gehäuses passt. Dank der ausgeklügelten Aufteilung in zwei Kammern, bietet die Armis AR5 Serie mehr Platz für lange Netzteile und erleichtert den Einbau von Komponenten und das Durchführen von Kabeln.
Alle drei Armis AR5 Modelle unterstützt moderne E-ATX, ATX, microATX sowie mini-ITX Mainboards und moderne Grafikkarten mit einer Gesamtlänge von bis zu 350 mm als auch CPU Kühler mit eine Höhe von 162 mm. Des Weiteren finden auch All-in-One Wasserkühlungen im Inneren mehr als reichlich Platz. Es können All-in-One-Lösungen mit Radiatoren in den Größen 120/140, 240/280 und 360 in der Front installiert werden. Im Top-Panel lassen sich dagegen Radiatoren in der Größe 120 bzw. 240 befestigen. An durchdachte Befestigungsmöglichkeiten für Speichermedien ist ebenfalls gedacht worden: Es können bis zu zwei herkömmliche 2,5“ SSDs und zwei weitere 2,5“ bzw. 3,5“ Laufwerke installiert werden.
Leicht zu reinigende Staubfilter befinden sich in der Front, der oberen Abdeckung und im unteren Teil des Gehäuses. Zur einfachen Montage und Pflege von Kühlern mit Backplate, bieten die neuen Armis AR5 Gehäuse eine große Aussparung auf der Rückseite.
SilentiumPC Armis AR5 und AR5 TG verfügen außerdem über den Blackout-PWM-Controller, der auf simple Weise die Steuerung von bis zu 10 Lüftern über ein PWM-Signal des Motherboards ermöglicht. Diese Modelle sind auch mit dem „Blackout“-Knopf ausgestattet, mit dem sich die Power- als auch HDD-LED abschalten lässt.
Die RGB-Beleuchtung des Armis AR5 TG RGB kann über den entsprechenden Knopf am Frontpanel oder über RGB-Systeme von Mainboards, wie zum Beispiel ASRock™ RGB LED, Asus™ Aura, EVGA™ RGB oder MSI™ Mystic Light, komfortabel gesteuert werden. Der integrierte Aurora Sync RGB- und PWM-Controller ist das Herzstück des Systems und dient als intelligenter Hub für bis zu sechs kompatible Geräte.
Der Controller bietet eine Fülle an manuell einstellbaren Effekten, wie beispielsweise Breathe oder Wave und kann mit anderen Produkten, wie der SilentiumPC Navis RGB AIO-Wasserkühlung oder dem Fera 3 RGB CPU Kühler, kombiniert werden. Des Weiteren übernimmt der Aurora Sync Controller die Steuerung von bis zu sechs Lüftern, die über das PWM-Signal vom Mainboard geregelt werden.

Sharing the same base chassis structure and features, the variants offer different pricing and equipment:
- The base model, Armis AR5 features a solid flat side panel and two Sigma HP 120 mm fans.
- Armis AR5 TG has a tempered-glass side panel and comes with two Sigma HP 120 mm fans.
- Armis AR5 TG RGB comes with tempered-glass side panel, as well as two Sigma HP 120 mm fans, one Sigma HP Corona 120 RGB fan and Aurora Sync PRO illumination/PWM controller.
Despite having a solid, minimalistic front, the case does not compromise the cooling properties, as the signature Armis side-vents provide airflow level comparable to fully mesh fronts. Seamlessly integrated into brushed-look front panel remains a single ODD bay.
Extra effort was placed into improving the internal structure design. Entirely new motherboard tray features a gentle styling touch by incorporating distinctive hexagonal pattern that discreetly matches other openings in the chassis. Functionality upgrades revolve around simplified interior design with emphasis on ease of component installation and straightforward cable management.
All the three SilentiumPC Armis AR5 variants support E-ATX, ATX, microATX and mini-ITX mainboards and offer ample space for latest VGA cards with a length of up to 350 mm as well as CPU air coolers with a maximum height of 162 mm. Users are able to install All-in-One water-cooling systems with 120/140, 240/280 and even 360 radiators in the front. Thoughtful 2.5/3.5” drive spaces allow convenient installation of up to 2x SSDs and 2x HDD/SSDs while the redesigned bottom chamber offers more space for power supplies. A single ODD drive bay is also present.
SilentiumPC Armis AR5 and AR5 TG feature a Blackout PWM controller, a simple yet effective way of controlling up to 10 fans via single PWM signal from the motherboard. These variants also offer a Blackout switch, which turns the Power and HDD LEDs off.
Easy to remove and clean dust-filters are installed in the vents in the front panel, the top-cover and on bottom of the case. Mounting of backplate-based coolers is made really easy thanks the large, dedicated cutout in the motherboard tray.
The RGB illumination in Armis AR5 TG RGB can be adjusted manually using the dedicated button on the front panel or via compatible motherboard software such as ASRock™ RGB LED, Asus™ Aura, EVGA™ RGB or MSI™ Mystic Light. The core and the brains of the system is the built-in advanced Aurora Sync PRO RGB/PWM controller which acts as an intelligent hub for up to 6 compatible devices. It allows for plethora of manually triggered effects such as Breathe or Wave, as well as further expandability (i.e. SilentiumPC Navis RGB or Fera RGB CPU coolers). In addition, the Aurora Sync PRO controls the fan speed of up to 6 fans using a single PWM signal from the motherboard.
