11.04.2018 – Warschau, Polen – SilentiumPC stellt mit der Armis AR7 Serie neue Gehäuse der Mittelklasse vor. Diese gibt es wahlweise mit klassischen, schwarzen Seitenteilen oder mit modernem, gehärteten Glas sowie passender RGB-Beleuchtung. Die neuen Full-Tower bieten viel Platz und kombinieren minimalistisches Design mit starken Leistungsmerkmalen. Bei der Entwicklung der Armis AR7 Serie stand ausgezeichnete Kühlung im Vordergrund. Die großen Lufteinlässe im Frontpanel ermöglichen hohen Luftdurchfluss, der mit dem eines Mesh-Frontpanels vergleichbar ist. Für einfache Reinigung sind die Einlässe mit passenden und leicht entfernbaren Staubfiltern versehen. Ein weiteres wichtiges Feature der Serie ist das benutzerfreundliche I/O-Panel, dass sowohl im oberen als auch im unteren Bereich des Frontpanels befestigt werden kann. Das Panel bietet somit komfortablen Zugang zu zwei USB 3.0 Ports sowie Audio-Anschlüssen und Schaltern für die Belüftung bzw. Beleuchtung.

With cooling being a major focus the front vents were specifically designed to provide high-volume, non-restrictive airflow, comparable to fully mesh designs. For simple maintenance, they are covered with easily removable custom dust filters.

Das Top-Modell Armis AR7 TG RGB bietet neben den beiden LED-Streifen und einem ringförmigen Lüfter außerdem noch die Option die Grafikkarte vertikal zu befestigen. Am anderen Ende des Spektrums findet man die klassische AR7 Variante, die mit einem speziellen „Blackout“-Knopf ausgestattet ist, mit dem man die Power- und HDD-LEDs für Rendering- bzw. Simulations-Sessions abschalten kann. Beide Varianten werden ab Mitte April für 69€ respektive 89€ (inkl. MwSt.) erhältlich sein. Im dritten Quartal 2018 wird außerdem eine Variante ohne 5,25“-Schächte folgen.

Apart from two LED strips and ring-type fan, the Armis AR7 TG RGB also offers the option to mount the GPU vertically for showing off that precious card you managed to sneak through the miners. On the other side of the spectrum there is the classic AR7 version with a special “blackout” button which turns HDD and power LEDs off, especially useful for night rendering/simulation sessions.

Both variants will be available mid-April at modest price points of 69 / 89€ incl. VAT respectively. ODD-less version will follow in Q3.
