The newcomer GT6000 offers an exceptionally large 6.000 mAh battery, which offers double the capacity of the common on-market smartphones. While boosting the battery lifetime, GRETEL was able to fit a large 5,5” IPS-Display from SHARP™ for a great visual experience along with a MediaTek’s MT6737 Quad-Core System-on-a-Chip Solution, bundled with 2 GB of RAM for the appropriate performance for the mainstream market. The GT6000 features a dual camera setup on the rear using a 13 MP Panasonic™ Sensor as well as a 5 MP camera on front for video calls. GRETEL sets the MSRP at competitive 125,00 EUR for the GT6000.
Lange Akkulaufzeit und effizientes Quad-Core SoC
Der Hersteller GRETEL legt bei der Entwicklung seiner Produkte viel Wert auf ein gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Aus diesem Grund kommt beim GT6000 der MediaTek™ MT6737 zum Einsatz, der auf einem 1,3 GHz Quad-Core ARM A53 Cluster und einer Mali-T720 Grafikeinheit aufsetzt. Diese SoC-Lösung ist zwar speziell auf Effizienz und Sparsamkeit abgestimmt, kann aber bei Bedarf auch die volle Leistung entfalten, die für moderne Apps und 3D-Spiele benötigt wird. Zusätzlich zu dem sparsamen Ein-Chip-System, verbaut GRETEL einen Lithium-Ion Polymer Akku mit 6.000 mAh Kapazität, wodurch das Smartphone eine Standby-Zeit von 17 Tagen erreicht. Des Weiteren verfügt das GT6000 über zwei GB Arbeitsspeicher und einen 16 GB großen ROM, um einen reibungslosen Betrieb zu ermöglichen. Der interne Speicher kann durch den Nutzer bei Bedarf jederzeit erweitert werden, indem eine mindestens 32 GB große microSD-Karte in den Dual-SIM-Schlitten eingesetzt wird.
Schönes Design und ausgezeichnetes 5,5“ IPS Display
Das schicke Design des hochwertigen Metallgehäuses wirkt einheitlich und umschließt das 5,5“-Touchscreen, das von dem super robusten und in 2.5D abgerundeten Asahi Glass bedeckt ist. Das SHARP™ IPS-Display bietet ein lebendiges und scharfes Bild mit einer Auflösung von 720x1280px. Unterhalb des Touchscreens befindet sich ein mechanischer Knopf, in den ein Fingerabdrucksensor integriert ist, der zum schnellen und komfortablen Entsperren des Smartphones oder von Apps genutzt werden kann. Das GT6000 gibt es in den Farben Schwarz, Blau und Gold, wodurch für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Die Gesamtmaße des Smartphones belaufen sich auf 154,60 x 77,3 x 10,6 mm und das Gewicht beträgt 233 g. Damit ist es nicht das kompakteste seiner Klasse, liegt jedoch sicher in der Hand.
13 MP Dual-Kamera mit Bokeh-Effekt
GRETEL geht bei dem GT6000 einen anderen Weg und verbaut ein Dual-Kamera-System auf der Rückseite, bei dem die Hauptkamera mit f/2.2 Blendenöffnung auf dem 13 Megapixel MN34172 Sensor von Panasonic™ basiert und die zweite auf einem 1,3 MP Sensor. Über die zweite Kamera wird ein Bokeh-Effekt realisiert, den man beispielsweise von Spiegelreflexkameras kennt. Dadurch bekommen Bilder, die mit dem GT6000 geschossen werden, eine ganz andere Tiefenschärfe und Fokus. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich außerdem ein Dual-LED-Blitzt, der bei dunkleren Umgebungen eingesetzt werden kann. Die Frontkamera mit f/2.6 Blendenöffnung und 5 Megapixel-Auflösung ist für Videoanrufe und Selfies ausgelegt. Bei Bedarf kann auch der Blitz an der Front verwendet werden.
Android 7.0 (Nougat) und Konnektivität
Das GT6000 wird ab Werk mit Android in der Version 7.0 (Nougat) als Betriebssystem ausgeliefert. Damit erhalten Nutzer die derzeit aktuellste Version samt Features und Funktionen. GRETEL verpasst dem Betriebssystem eine angepasste Nutzeroberfläche (UI), was in einer Verbesserung der Benutzerfreundlichkeit und des Aussehens der Oberfläche resultiert. Das vorinstallierte Betriebssystem unterstützt eine Vielzahl an Sprachen, zu denen auch Deutsch zählt. Apps und Spiele können ganz bequem über den Google™ PlayStore bezogen werden. Zusätzlich zu den gewohnten Apps und Features, hat GRETEL die „Parallel Space“ Funktion integriert. Diese befindet sich in den Einstellungen und ermöglicht es den Nutzern, sich bei ausgewählten Apps mit einem zweiten Account anzumelden.
In Sachen Konnektivität bietet das GT6000 etwas mehr als die Basics. Neben WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 und Unterstützung von GPS, werden sowohl 4G als auch 3G Funknetzwerke ordentlich abgedeckt. Zu den unterstützten Frequenzen zählen FDD-LTE 2.100, 1.800, 2.600 ,900, 800 MHz (B1/3/7/8/20) sowie WCDMA 2.100, 900 MHz (B1/8). Weiterhin wird ein deutlich schnelleres Aufladen des Akkus über den microUSB-Port dank der Einführung der 9V/2A Schnelllade-Technology ermöglicht.

Long Battery Life and efficient Quad-Core SoC
The manufacturer GRETEL aims for high value-for-money ratio when developing new products, which is why GT6000 is equipped with the MediaTek™ MT6737 System-on-a-Chip solution. The MT6737 consists of a 1,3 GHz Quad Core ARM A53 cluster and the Mali-T720 GPU. The SoC is tuned for high efficiency, but can easily meet the requirements of latest Apps and Games. In addition to utilizing the efficient SoC, GRETEL installs a huge 6.000 mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery allowing the smartphone to last 17 days in standby. The GT6000 packs 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM, offering a great user experience. 13 MP Dual Camera with Bokeh Effect
GRETEL equipped the GT6000 with a dual camera setup, where the main camera is based on a 13 MP IC MN34172 from Panasonic™ which supports f/2.2 aperture and second camera on 1,3 MP IC as support. The second camera is used to achieve the bokeh effect, known from high-end cameras, adding a different depth and focus to the pictures. The cameras are supported by a dual LED flash light for dark environments. The front camera with f/2.6 aperture offers a resolution of 5 MP and has been tuned for video calls and taking selfies. The front flash light can be utilized as a support, when required.
Android 7.0 (Nougat) & Connectivity
The GT6000 comes with the pre-installed Android 7.0 (Nougat) as operating system, offering the latest features and efficiency. GRETEL has added a customized UI to simplify the navigation and improve the visuals. Users can choose the preferred system language from a long list of supported languages. Apps can be conveniently downloaded from the Google™ PlayStore, which is a crucial part for most users. Besides the stock apps and features, a new function, called Parallel Space, has been implemented. The function can be found under the smartphone settings and allows users to login with a second account in chosen apps.
Connectivity is another important field in which the GT6000 can cover more than just the basics. In addition to the Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS support, both 4G and 3G Networks are covered, including FDD-LTE 2.100, 1.800, 2.600 ,900, 800 MHz (B1/3/7/8/20) as well as WCDMA 2.100, 900 MHz (B1/8).
